THE EVENT: The eighth annual Children's National Medical Center and
Lexus Jazzmatazz which brought crooner Tony Bennet to town and helped
raise over $1.5 million for the Kids Care Fund.
THE SCENE: Mr. Bear, a Yogiesque
type character, proved that tricks aren't just for kids as he danced
around the blue-lit ballroom during cocktail hour elevating guests' heart
rates. Benefactors enjoyed a glittering dinner coupled with an address by
Honorary Chair Patti Austin.
