THE PARTY
A high-powered mostly democratic evening of holiday cheer at the home of Nancy Jacobson and Mark Penn. The gathering marked the 30th anniversary of Mr. Penn's research and polling fi rm, Penn, Schoen and Berland.

THE SCENE
A comfortable and inviting atmosphere was the perfect backdrop for both casual and sharp-witted conversations (had to be up-to-snuff on current events to hold your own with this group.)
