Washington Life’s May Launch Party

Washington Life celebrated the release of its May issue on Cinco de Mayo at Smith Point in Georgetown. About 400 young trendsetters accepted the invitation including: Nick Mele, couture model and grandson of Oatsie Charles; Sam Hornblower, PBS documentary filmmaker and godson of Lucky Roosevelt; Anna Marie Cox, the Wonkette editor; Anna Herrera, niece of designer Carolina Herrera; and Ashley Taylor, granddaughter of Ann and Lloyd Hand, who exclaimed “Now I know why I should never miss a Washington Life party.” Guests sipped Patron (tequila), munched on cupcakes from Cake Love, and chips and salsa from Cactus Cantina. They also carried home Kiehl’s gift bags full of their latest summer products.
