THE EVENT:
Washington’s younger social set separated from their regular Georgetown watering holes for Washington Life’s preview of Wedding Crashers on July 6. The film stars Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn and was filmed in D.C. last summer.§
LIGHTS CAMERA ACTION:
Handsome Harvard grads Paul Nitze, Elbridge Colby and Sam Hornblower were spotted at the preview of the bachelor comedy, which was screened at the new Regal Gallery Place Theater before moviegoers headed across the street to trendy IndeBleu for the exclusive after-party. Mike Monroe, manager of Chef Geoff, boasted that he was an extra in the movie and hopes to continue his Hollywood career.§
PARTY CRASHING:
IndeBleu, which recently won a Rammy for Hottest Bar Scene, treated guests to cornflake shrimp and rib samoas as Jenna Bush’s main squeeze, Henry Hager, chatted with a friend in the corner for most of the night. Film producer Nicole Boxer and Winston Lord were among the crowd enjoying exotic cocktails while dancing to the techno lounge music.
