Girl’s Night Out.
FITNESS FOR MARLA:
Girls Night Out (GNO), a
network of professional social
women, hosted an event
at SomaFit to honor their
late friend Marla Ruzicka,
founder of the Campaign for
Innocent Victims of Confl ict
(CIVIC). Ruzicka tragically
became an innocent victim
of war herself at age 28 while
doing humanitarian work in
Iraq. Known for her sparkling
personality and for working
15-hour days in war torn areas,
Marla tirelessly gave of herself
and was able to secure over
$22 million from Congress for
civilian victims in Iraq.§
MIND BODY AND SOUL:
Many of the 75 ladies a ending
tried SomaFit’s very popular
Yala class, which combines
dance with dynamic cardio.
SomaFit treated everyone to
massages and workshops on
skin care and health.§
LOOKING GOOD:
World-renowned designers
Akihiko Izukura, Wild Women
Wear Red and Tarsian and
Blinkley adorned models
with their exquisite fashions.
Proceeds went to CIVIC in
Marla’s honor.
