Brazil, Bolivia and Thirty Ceos

The Bolivians and Brazilians Host the National Retail Federation

DYNAMIC DIPLOMATIC DUO’S:
On June 21, Bolivian Ambassador Jamie Aparicio and his wife Pamela joined Brazilian Ambassador Roberto Abdenur and his wife Maria Isabel in hosting an unprecedented cultural evening on June 21 for 30 CEO’s from America’s largest retailers.
LET’S TANGO:
The dinner was hosted by the Brazilians at their residence, where guests dined on seared sea scallops with lump crabmeat, red snapper and beef medallions. Guests moved to the Bolivian residence for dessert and entertainment, featuring Argentina’s premier tango duo and Bolivia’s theatrical and colorful Diabolos dancers.
BUILDING BRIDGES:
South American Ambassadors envoys were in a endance, including those from Chile, Ecuador, Peru, Paraguay and Venezuela. Ambassador Aparicio and Keith Lipert, of the Keith Lipert Gallery, conceived and planned the event for the National Retail Federation. “This event was an initial step to build bridges in the Americas and to show the potential of South America as a region and trading partner with the largest retailers across the United States,” Ambassador Aparicio said.
