Fifteen beautiful Christmas trees decorated The Four Seasons Hotel ballroom
at the Festival of Trees benefit Children’s Hospital on December 1. Each
was sponsored by a local company or individual and decorated by
local interior designers. The event raised over $185,000, in addition
to an anonymous gift of $300,000 for The Center for Cancer and
Blood Disorders at the hospital, an ‘infusion room” for children who need
chemotherapy and/or blood transfusions. Proceeds will also help provide
reading materials, televisions and DVD players for the patients.
