THE EVENT: The fourth annual event celebrating the Blues as America's musical legacy and the pioneers who continue to produce this great music. THE SCENE: derek Trucks, called one of today's "guitar Gods" by Rolling Stone, and his band made a stop at this year's Festival, presented by Volkswagen and benefiting Music Maker Relief Foundation, a charity dedicated to supporting blues artists. THE GUESTS: Co-Chairmen Rep. Chip Pickering, Rep. David Price and Sen. Miark Pryor; Elliott Gross of WPFW radio and event organizer Ryan Costello.
