An Enduring Love

Guests gathered in March at the home of McLean businessman Michael Ansari and his wife, Karen, to honor Farah Pahlavi and celebrate the publication of her autobiography, “Enduring Love: My Life with the Shah,” the intimate tale of her youth, marriage, years of power as Shahbanou (Empress) of Iran and eventual exile. Pahlavi lives in Paris and in Potomac, Maryland, where she moved two years ago to be closer to her eldest son, Prince Reza Pahlavi, his wife, Yasmine,and their three daughters.
