Over 750 guests, including ambassadors from 30 countries, came out to celebratediplomacy at the Meridian International Center’s ball on October 12.As is the custom, dinner at various embassies preceded the ball, followedby dessert and dancing at the mansion at the 33rd annual gala. Some of theVIPs who attended the affair included Cabinet Secretaries Paul O’Neill andSpencer Abraham, and former FBI director Louis Freeh. The MeridianInternational Center’s mission is to promote international understanding.
