Every first Thursday after Labor Day, Georgetown resident Pat Dixson throws her annual fall party,kicking off the season for Washington social types who pack her living room and overflow onto the patioadjacent to the pool. Guests also enjoyed listening to live music while sampling an interesting array ofhors d’oeuvres from the buffet table and reminiscing about the summer past.
