Polyester double-knit, bell bottoms and Afros were everywhere in keeping with the request on theinvitation to Kara Kennedy and Linda Semans (nicknamed Bolla) joint costume/birthday party. Two hundredfriends and family—many from out of town—came to celebrate with the dynamic duo who wore matching 1970sflight attendant costumes and pins that said "fly me." The mood was humorous, festive, and light withfeverish dancing late into the night.
