Local celebs have designed a series of drinks to benefit the Children's Miracle Network

The M Bar & Lounge has a unique liquid prescription for helping kids in need. The Dupont Circle watering hole in the Renaissance Hotel recently launched the RX cocktail program, which benefits the Children’s Miracle Network. Every month through the end of the year, the lounge will feature a new libation inspired by a local mover and shaker. Sales of the civic-minded libations will go towards funding children’s hospitals.

Real Househusband and reality star Rich Amons conceived the latest offering, “The Skinny Rich,” which spikes lemonade with VeeV Açaí spirits. Radio personality Tommy McFly, fabulous foodie Nycci Nellis of TheListAreYouOnIt and art world powerhouse Fernando Batista also conceived charitable concoctions, which will be rolled out in the coming months.
