Get Out and Give Back: Teamwork for Alexandria’s Children

The Center for Alexandria’s Children (CAC) looks like any neighborhood daycare center. The walls are painted in bright pastels and adorned with drawings of friendly, smiling animals. The play area floor is littered with games, puzzles and kid-indestructible furniture.  But while the CAC is not a day care center, it’s a place for kids to feel safe.

The CAC also offers family programs to strengthen and support children and their parents. Photo courtesy of Gale Curcio.
