FYIDC: WNO Partners with Kennedy Center

The Washington National Opera teams up with The Kennedy Center for a performing arts affiliation.

Two of the Washington, DC area’s most powerful players in the performing arts have teamed up.  David M. Rubenstein, Chairman of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and Kenneth R. Feinberg, President of Washington National Opera (WNO) announced the affiliation that will begin in July 2011 of the two organizations.  The partnership aims to further strengthen the mission of the dedication to outstanding development of the opera.  This commitment to maintaining world-class performances will be of great benefit to opera patrons and audience members, of which include combined access to a variety of educational resources and international festivals.
