Habitat for Humanity’s “Thanks A Million! A salute to the life and service of our most famous volunteers – Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter” will take place on World Habitat Day, Oct. 4th. The Gala will be part of the kick-off of a week of build activities engaging more than 1,000 volunteers in the revitalization of neighborhoods in six U.S. cities. Gala co-chairs include Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, Frank Blake of Home Depot, Andrew N. Liveris of Dow, and Larry Stone of Lowe’s. Oct. 4, 2010, 6-10 p.m. Andrew W.
