Please join DC School Reform Now and Democrats for Education Reform as we present “The Critical Need for School Reform and How to Achieve It.” In this presentation in the tradition of “An Inconvenient Truth,” noted education reformer and DFER co-founder Whitney Tilson will discuss the history of school reform in the United States and why as a nation and as a city we must urgently support the best practices we know work in closing the achievement gap. In addition to national data, DC School Reform Now will be presenting and releasing a report on the achievement gap in DC. Confirmed attendees include a broad spectrum of business and civic leaders. As concerned citizens, we must demand equal access to a quality education as a civil right for all.
