For 35 years, The Women’s Center has paved the way for women, children and their families on their journey to insight, education and independence.
In 1974 The Women’s Center was on the cutting edge by venturing into a unique endeavor-–one that focused on career counseling and seminars. As time went by, the Center evolved and created a very special niche for itself within the Northern Virginia and DC community. It became the resource that everyone knew about—a resource dedicated to addressing the diverse needs of women and families by providing financial, career and psychological counseling as well as year-round education programs—all on an ability to pay basis.
Over these many years The Women’s Center has offered thousands upon thousands of individual counseling, group therapy and educational program hours. By supporting The Center through this celebration, you help to ensure the health of your community in so many ways.
